Today i had the unfortunate experience of not remember my skype password…. So this should be easy i thought but Nope, you also have to remember the email you used when you signed up with skype. Grrr that too i forgot, i spent two hours trying to find an answer. I did finally find a solution and i hope this finds its way to you faster than it did me. then answer comes from a skype forum but the short answer and what i did is this.1) Username / e-mail address: Copy and Paste or Type %AppData%\Skype in browser or Explorer address bar. Double click user folder, double click, or open (with Notepad), profile 256 or 4096. Email address and user name should be there. i found my in the 256 file. its mixed in with some other data but you will find it helpful. This solution only works if you still have the software installed on a computer that you had previous signed in with. Hope this helps
As you may have figured out i have recently upgraded to Vista assuming by now all the little kinks would be worked out.
Little did i expect or suspect that my snowball microphone by Blue would not be able to work with vista,
I have looked all over for upgraded drivers nothing , firmware updates…. nothing.. now all i can do is hope that i get a response from Blues support team that i sent in last week in regards to needing help for resolve.
I have been in love with my Snowball since i got it. But if they cant help me then why should i stick with them . this is not a 29.99 microphone. I picked up this is a 139.99 from gutiar center. So a little Vista support would not be out of the question given that Vista is almost hmm two years old can it be.?? and Blue still hasnt worked this out.
Keep you posted.
