As you may have figured out i have recently upgraded to Vista assuming by now all the little kinks would be worked out.
Little did i expect or suspect that my snowball microphone by Blue would not be able to work with vista,
I have looked all over for upgraded drivers nothing , firmware updates…. nothing.. now all i can do is hope that i get a response from Blues support team that i sent in last week in regards to needing help for resolve.
I have been in love with my Snowball since i got it. But if they cant help me then why should i stick with them . this is not a 29.99 microphone. I picked up this is a 139.99 from gutiar center. So a little Vista support would not be out of the question given that Vista is almost hmm two years old can it be.?? and Blue still hasnt worked this out.

I too contacted Blue and they sent a very non-committal reply. Tried to sidestep, wouldn’t say if a driver would be available in future. Asked for my address and then never got back to me. So I have a Snowball that doesn’t work with my PC also. If anyone knows something it’d be appreciated!!!
I called them asking if a vista update was ever coming, they said its in production, but isnt a priority, damn….
I also got the run-around from a so-called “tech support” person who first chastised me over the phone because I applied the firmware that they originally had and then had to email them a complaint when the emailed URL didn’t go anywhere.
My email was sent on March 6, 2008 from my then-work-email address and, as of this date, they have not provided me with the fix of a decent working microphone. I have since moved on and my Snowball has been banished to a box under my bed…
Ya I got one too there is a NEW Snow Balll that is VISTA Compatible that is the vure and they want us to up 99.00 -139 still
