So lets make this clear this information is for WindowsXP only,,, as Microsofts Vista has decided to change things up a little bit as to where it keeps things . The my documents folder should contain most of the items you want to back up. RIghhhht.!!!

In the following example WindowsXP is installed on the default C Drive .
If you have it installed on a different location then substitues your drive letter .
There is also the
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\
